The Home & Landscape Expo starts today, bringing the largest gathering of home and landscape professionals to Cal Expo. The exposition start today and runs until Sunday. Hours are Friday 12pm-8pm, Saturday 10am-7pm, and Sunday 10am-6pm. Admission is $7.00 (Children 12 and under free with paid adult), and $10.00 to park.

Despite the recent incident near Dixieanne, crime in the North Area has decreased 12-percent between 2008 and 2009. The most notable was the decrease in homicides.
