The seven arena proposals were unveiled last night, with one already getting support from the the NBA and the Kings. The plan, called “The Sacramento Convergence” would essentially move the State Fair to Natomas, moving the arena to the Downtown Railyards, leaving Cal Expo to be sold to private ownership to be developed into a suburban community.

The potential for a fairgrounds in Natomas came as a surprise.
