An “urban wildfire” at Bushy Lake behind Cal Expo brought 4th of July celebrations to a halt yesterday and filled the air with smoke and ash.
Ultimately, the fireworks show was able to go off as planned with some modifications for crowd control. The scheduled Sacramento Republic FC game was canceled due to poor air quality and rescheduled for Monday, July 7 at 7:30pm.
