North Avenue Elementary to hold fundraiser

North Ave Elementary will hold a fundraiser at Joe’s Crab Shack this Thursday from 5pm to 10pm. Ten-percent of each check will benefit the school. Be sure to present the fundraiser flier to your server at the restaurant to receive credit for your organization.

Knights fall short

Pacers move to next round

The Grant Pacers moved to the next round tonight, defeating the Fairfield Falcons 66-12. The Pacers will have some stiff competition going up against the second-seeded Rocklin Thunder (12-0), who defeated the Atwater Falcons 35-6. The Pacer-Thunder game will be played at a neutral site to be determined.

New teen center opens today

The Carl R. Hansen Teen Center opens today, covering 10,000 square feet with a gym, kitchen, and large activity room. The center is an extension of the Stanford Settlement Neighborhood Center, located at 450 West El Camino Ave. The center will be dedicated today at 3pm.
