Police searching for missing individual with disability

The Sacramento Police Department is searching for a missing woman last seen in North Sacramento.

On June 2, 2011, at 9 a.m., Carole Slaughter left her home on foot and has not been seen since. The Police Department has not been able to locate Slaughter who was last seen in the neighborhood east of Grand Avenue and Marysville Boulevard.

Due to the fact that Slaughter has a disability limiting her mental capacity to that of a 3-year-old, officers are concerned for her welfare.

Carole Slaughter is described as a female Black, 46-years-old, 5’4″, 150 lbs, black hair, brown eyes, last seen wearing a gray t-shirt, blue jeans, and white tennis shoes.

The Sacramento Police Department urges anyone with information pertaining to this missing person to contact them at (916) 264-5471.

UPDATE: Police have found Carol Slaughter.
