The Sacramento Police Department has installed surveillance cameras along the Del Paso Boulevard corridor at three locations:
- Forest Street
- Fairfield Street
- The El Camino Ave intersection.
These cameras will be used to record activity near business, along the streets, and will be reviewed for potential evidence if a crime occurs; SPD has taken measures to exclude private residences from being recorded who are not under investigation.
Councilmember Sandy Sheedy provided the funding for the installation of these surveillance cameras.
