The First Samoan Congregational Christian Church is collecting supplies for survivors of last week’s deadly tsunami. The supplies needed are tents, clothes, shoes, canned goods, and bottled water. Kohl’s has arrived

Today, Kohl’s opens 30 new California stores as part of their California Grand Opening event. You may already be familiar with Kohl’s from visiting the location in North Natomas. One of their newest locations is at the former Mervyns store near Arden Fair.

Robertson Skate Park now open

Last week, Councilmember Sandy Sheedy led the Grand Opening of the new Skate Park at Robertson Park. The skate park takes the place of what were underutilized tennis courts. The skate park includes pipes, ramps, pyramid wedges, picnic tables, and grind rails allowing local youth to practice their skateboarding tricks.
