According to Melissa Corker at the Sacramento Press, community leader and former human resources manager Sondra Betancourt will enter the race for Councilmember of District 2. Among many things, Betancourt has worked with the Ben Ali Community Association. Betancourt’s entry expands the field of candidates to five.
