A man in his 30s died after being shot this afternoon near Grant High School in Del Paso Heights.

It was shortly after 2 p.m. when two Twin Rivers Police officers were hailed regarding a shooting on High Street south of South Ave near the school. They arrived and found a man laying in the driveway of a home suffering from at least one gunshot wound to the upperbody. He later died at a local hospital.

Officers detained and later arrested an 18-year-old man near the scene of the of the shooting, and recovered the gun believed to be used in the crime.

There may be two other accomplices involved.
