  1. I learned of Chris Milas’s passing today from a close friend. He was one of my very best friends and our co-workers often referenced us a work husband and work wife. I tranferred from the Oakland office of Comcast back in April of 2007 and Chris and I hit it off almost immediate. He has attended several of my family functions and became very close with my daughter Simone who is 13 now. Chris has been in our lives for the past 4+ years and will be missed dearly. I can remember him being all excited about turning 30… We laughed about that and how eager he was to put his 20’s behind him….When I broke the news to my daughter, she was not able to stop crying. This has just devistated us in so many ways. I called his work phone today just to hear his voice for one last time. I will not have the pleasure of hearing his laugh which is something we did all the time, seeing his smile, him cheering me up anyway he could, him prank calling me and pretending he was an angry Comcast customer and leaving an evil message on my cell phone. My heart is broken and this is something that will take time to cope and heal. I am at such a loss… My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and I want them to know how many lives this wonderful man has touched and he will be forever missed. This pain I am feeling is just unbearable.
