People could rob banks for any number of reasons. Greed, lack of money, or just the need to feed themselves or their families. Doesn’t make it right, but there’s probably a motive.
Steven Wilson had something else in mind when he robbed the Bank of America branch on Del Paso Boulevard last Saturday morning.
The Sacramento Police Department arrested Wilson for the bank robbery that occurred in North Sacramento. and found a large amount of the stolen money was already spent on various sex toys, electronics, and a photo shoot for $600.
On February 12, 2011, at 10:28 a.m., Wilson was caught on surveillance cameras entering a bank in the 1800 block of Del Paso Boulevard. He gave a note to the teller indicating he had a gun and was able to flee the bank with an undisclosed amount of money. Detectives utilized the surveillance video of the suspect, cross checked it with recent released parolees, and found Wilson was released from prison on February 2.
On February 15, 2011, detectives located Wilson at a motel in the 3400 block of Orange Grove Avenue and took him into custody without incident.
