The 12th annual Great Backyard Bird Count comes to Del Paso Heights this weekend.

The Sacramento Audubon Society is providing families to help local avian wildlife with a program for beginning and advanced birdwatchers. Species of birds native to our region will be identified through slide photos.

This free event will take place this Saturday, January 24, 2009 at the Del Paso Heights Library on Grand Ave and Cypress Street at 1:00pm.
