Kohl’s has arrived

Today, Kohl’s opens 30 new California stores as part of their California Grand Opening event. You may already be familiar with Kohl’s from visiting the location in North Natomas. One of their newest locations is at the former Mervyns store near Arden Fair.

DDSO thanks Mayor Johnson for interview

During tonight’s City Council Meeting, members of DDSO presented Mayor Kevin Johnson with a gift thanking him for his interview at the organization’s “Uncork for the Arts” Wine Tasting and Art Exhibit. The event was held at the Supper Club on September 20th, 2009. Here is their interview.

Robertson Skate Park now open

Last week, Councilmember Sandy Sheedy led the Grand Opening of the new Skate Park at Robertson Park. The skate park takes the place of what were underutilized tennis courts. The skate park includes pipes, ramps, pyramid wedges, picnic tables, and grind rails allowing local youth to practice their skateboarding tricks.
