A 25 year old woman was struck and killed by a truck as she crossed Grand Ave at Taylor Street in Del Paso Heights.
Sacramento Police received a call regarding a vehicle accident involving a pedestrian and that citizens were performing CPR on the pedestrian.
The Sacramento Fire Department marked on scene and declared the pedestrian deceased.
The driver of the truck remained on scene. It was found that the truck was going west on Grand Ave when the pedestrian was struck in the street.
DUI and speed were not factors in this accident.
An island is placed in the middle of the crosswalk.
