The Del Paso Heights Community Association and Councilmember Allen Warren are hosting a Neighborhood Cleanup in Del Paso Heights on Saturday, June 8 from 8am – 11am, beginning at the southeast corner of Marysville Blvd. and Grand Avenue.

Participants are asked to bring extra supplies including brooms, saws, pruners/clippers, weedwhackers, etc…

Weather from 8am – 11am is forecast to be sunny with temperatures ranging from 80°F to 90°F. Suggestions for working in these conditions include:

• Drinking plenty of water; even if you do not feel thirsty. Avoid drinks with caffeine. Persons who have epilepsy or heart, kidney, or liver disease; are on fluid-restricted diets; or have a problem with fluid retention should consult a doctor before increasing liquid intake.
• Dressing in loose-fitting, lightweight, and light-colored clothes that cover as much skin as possible. Avoid dark colors because they absorb the sun’s rays. 
• Protecting your face and head by wearing a wide-brimmed hat.
• Wearing sunblock.
