Dr. Cornel West comes to Cosumnes River College on Sunday, January 27th at 3 pm.
Dr. West will speak at a “Evening of Spiritual Inspiration” presented by the Martha Parker Scholarship Fund. The event takes place at the Cosumnes River College Community & Athletic Center.
General Seating is $15 and Reserved Seating is $25.
Dr. Cornel West is a Sacramento native and renowned scholar and professor of Philosophy, Religion, and African American Studies.West is currently a professor of African American studies at Prinecton.
The event is co-sponsored by the Zeta Beta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and the Los Rios College Federation of Teachers.
Proceeds support the Martha Parker Scholarship & Alpha Academy.
