VegFest 2.0, a celebration of raw, vegan, and vegetarian cuisines, comes to Del Paso Boulevard this Saturday, August 13 to both the Artisan Building and The Greens Hotel.
The event will feature exhibits, tastings, information, vendors, recipes, speakers, and a children’s area.
Speakers include Michael Marks “Your Produce Man” and Janice Stanger, Ph. D., author of Whole Foods for Health and Weight Loss.
Guest tasting panel judges for the small plate, entree, and dessert competition include Councilmember Sandy Sheedy, Michael Marks, Chris Macias (Sacramento Bee Food & Wine), Michael Coynes II (General Manager of ENOTRIA), and Burrell DeVine (Founder of OurRecoveryDirectory.com).
General admission to VegFest 2.0 is $2.00 (ages 12 and over) and $1 with non-perishable food item donation benefiting local food banks.
