The Sacramento Horsemen’s Association has temporarily closed it’s doors to the public due to an outbreak of Equine Herpes Virus-1.

The Horsemen’s Association posted the following statement:

Due to an out break of the Rhino-EHV-1 virus, SHA will cancel all up-coming events. At this time the facility is closed to the public, until further notice. Boarders ONLY ! We spoke with CDIA and Kris Bartow..some horses in Loomis are being tested. Way too close to home !!! How scarey !!!

Their next Hunter Jump Show is scheduled for June 19th, 2011.
