Senator Darrell Steinberg’s 10th Annual Passport to Summer Youth Fair takes place tomorrow, Saturday May 14th, 2011 from 11am-3pm at Southside Park.

The Passport to Summer Youth Fair is an event for parents, young adults and children, highlighting a wide-range of opportunities for healthy summer and after school activities. It will feature programs offered by local parks and recreation departments, as well as opportunities provided by a number of other community organizations including the Boys and Girls Clubs, Sacramento Youth Symphony, Crocker Art Museum, CSU Camps and the YMCA.

More than 400 organizations have been invited to participate.

Free health screenings for children and youth will be provided. There will be many performances including one by the Grant High School Drumline.
