Beat the Second Saturday crowd this weekend and head over the the Sacramento African-American Art Collective’s (SAAAC) First Saturday Art Walk on April 2 at Carol’s Books, Kuumba Collective Art Gallery and Framed by Frankie.

A reception will be held at Carol’s Books from 1:30 PM to 2:15 PM featuring works by Warren Spirling.

A second reception will be held at Kuumba Collective Art Gallery 2:45 PM – 4:00 PM
Kuumba Collective Art Gallery featuring works by Mary Marshall and Framed by Frankie featuring works by Lumumba.

As part of the SAAAC, the three galleries highlight Del Paso Boulevard in this self-guided art tour around Sacramento. In addition, a wealth of talent by poets, musicians and other artists in various disciplines will be showcased. Participating artists are predominately from the greater Sacramento region and surrounding communities.
