Woman found dead in home in North Sacramento

A woman was found dead in her home in North Sacramento late last night. The case has since been ruled a homicide.

Woman Found Murdered In Home

The Sacramento Police Department is investigating the murder of a 56-year-old female.

On September 13, 2010, at 7:50 p.m., officers responded to the 2300 block of Beaumont Street on a deceased female. The neighbors had grown concerned about the victim’s welfare and decided to check on her. The neighbors found the victim deceased and notified the Police and Fire Department. Due to the suspicious circumstances surrounding the death, officers initiated an investigator call out.

Homicide detectives and Crime Scene Investigators responded. Detectives and personnel from the Coroners Officer determined that the victim’s death was in fact as a result of a homicide. The motivation for the homicide is still under investigation.
