The California State Fair kicks off at 12pm on Wednesday, July 14, 2010; a month earlier than its traditional mid-August start.

The Fair will run for two and a half weeks from July 14 to August 1. The fair will operate from 12am-10pm on Mondays – Thursdays, and 10am-10pm on Fridays – Sundays. Hours for the Midway and Kids Park are slightly different. Visit the State Fair’s website for information on the hours of operation.

The Fair will feature its usual variety of fun events and activities, along with the featured “Days of Dinosaur” Adventure exhibit and the concert series.
