Last week, the Twin Rivers police union agreed to a contract extension through 2012. Twin Rivers PD is also one of the agencies in discussions with Natomas Unified School District,  though no decisions have been made.

Natomas Unified has undergone deep budget cuts over the past few months, making it difficult to pay its $215,000 contract for two Sacramento Police Department officers. Natomas considered having no police presence a its three high schools, though that may change with these discussions.
