The Office of Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is looking for individuals to help with the upcoming Census 2010.

A regional convening on Census outreach will take place on Thursday, June 18, 2009 at the Oak Park Community Center‘s Multi-Purpose Room. The event starts at 8:30am with opening remarks by Mayor Kevin Johnson, followed by lunch at noon (with RSVP), followed by training from 1pm-3pm. Discussions will focus on ensuring everyone in the community is counted in the Census.

You must register by June 10, 2009 for the convening, lunch, and training from the U.S. Census Bureau.

Partners include California Complete Count, the City of Sacramento Neighborhood Services Department, the Sacramento Region Community Foundation, and The California Endowment.
