The City of Sacramento Neighborhood Services Department will hold a free Green Gardening Class this Sunday, May 3, 2009 from 2pm-5pm at the South Natomas Community Center.

Classes and workshops will focus on soil, vegetables, drought tolerant and native plants, fruit and shade trees, pest management, composting, and worm farming.

Classes will be taught by professionals from the UC Cooperative Extension, Sacramento County Master Gardeners, and other local gardeners.
