The Grant High School Pacers won a hard fought game defeating the the acclaimed Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits 25-20, becoming the 2008 CIF State Open Division Champions.

The game was a nail-biter, with both team’s defenses dominating the game. Grant scored the winning touchdown with less than 2 minutes in the game. They went on to become the only Northern California school to win a State Championship this weekend.
