Foothill High school will host its second annual health fair on Friday, May 30, 2014 from 7:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. in the main gym.

The fair, with the theme “Making Healthy Choices”, will have booths representing various aspects of health including:

• Mental health
• Heart health / heart disease prevention
• Drug / Alcohol awareness and prevention.
• Physical fitness
• Nutrition
• Blood pressure control / hypertension screening
• Diabetes
• Lung health / anti-smoking
• STI / pregnancy prevention
• Teen moms / pregnancy
• Bully free zone

Community members attending include WIC, Planned Parenthood, American Red Cross, US Army, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, Sutter Health Diabetes Education, and Cal Fit.

The health fair is the product of the Career Techical Education department, Rosemary Davis (RN), Beckie Bloemker, Cheri Mendoza, Stephen Dommer, and students from ROP Medical Careers, ROP Digital Media, and ROP Career with Children.
