In the evening hours of Tuesday, February 19, 2013, police responded to three separate take-over-type robberies to businesses in the North Sacramento. In each instance, three armed gunman enter the businesses and demand cash. Some of the victims were physically assaulted by the aggressive robbers causing minor injuries.
The suspects are described as male Hispanic adults, ranging from approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall to 5 feet 9 inches tall, and approximate weight ranging from 140 pounds to 190 pounds.
The first incident occurred at approximately 8:23 p.m. at the Lucky Express Chinese Cuisine restaurant on the 3800 block of Willow Street in East Del Paso Heights. The three suspects entered a restaurant and robbed the business at gunpoint. Two employees were physically assaulted by the suspects who stole cash and fled. Surveillance photos were picked up at this incident (see below).
The second incident occurred at approximately 9:20 p.m. at S-P Liquor-Market on the 2600 block of Northgate Boulevard in Gardenland. The three suspects robbed a liquor store at gunpoint, physically assaulted two employees, stole cash and fled.
Less than ten minutes later did the third incident occur at approximately 9:28 p.m. at Lamppost Pizza on the 3200 block of Northgate Boulevard. The three suspects entered the restaurant and stole cash from an employee at gunpoint. Officers were already in the area and made it to the scene very quickly but the suspects were unable to be located.
