Good news Pacers fans!

The Sacramento Bee and MaxPreps predict the Grant Pacers will make the playoffs.

Grant will have it’s shot at a playoff spot if they defeat the Laguna Creek Cardinals on the road. CalPreps predicts Grant will win tonight’s game 41-6.

Grant’s task may be a little more difficult than it appears. Laguna Creek is 2-7 overall, but it is 2-1 at home whereas Grant is the exact opposite on the road at 1-2.

In its three road games this season, Grant has scored an average of 18 points per game. In its four home games, Laguna Creek has scored an average of 22 points per game.

This isn’t to say Laguna Creek, who has never defeated Grant, has been scoring more than their opponents; the Cardinals haven’t scored more than a touchdown in since the end of September. And Grant comes in with momentum after their huge home win against Davis last week.

Grant’s playoff destiny is in it’s hands.

Game kicks off at 7:15pm at Laguna Creek / Elk Grove Community Stadium.
