The Grant Pacers are set to play another rematch tomorrow night, this time against the Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits. The Pacers defeated the Jackrabbits in 2008 to win the CIF State Open Division Championship.

The game in 2008 was a nail-biter, with both team’s defenses dominating the game. Grant scored the winning touchdown with less than 2 minutes in the game. The Pacers returned to a parade from the school to City Hall.

Tomorrow night’s game kicks off at 7pm at Grant High School and is the finale of the ‘Smackdown in Sactown‘ event.

The Grant Jr. Pacers will also square off against Freemont at 9am.
