The City of Sacramento is postponing street overlay of some North Sacramento streets until April 2012 due to the implementation of a new federal requirement.

These streets include:

• Bell Avenue between Raley Boulevard and Parker Avenue
• Del Paso Boulevard between El Camino Avenue and Marysville Boulevard
• Fulton Avenue between Auburn Boulevard and North end of Business 80

The new federal rule shortened the window of opportunity for the City to hire contractors and complete the work during the 2011 construction season.
