The Amgen Tour of California released some of its routes and Stage 2 will begin in Squaw Valley and end in Sacramento, all while breezing through North Sac.

According to the stage’s map, the tour will enter Sacramento County in the Elverta area and pass through Rio Linda, North Natomas, Northgate, Gardenland, and Old North Sacramento before heading on Highway-160 to the Capitol.

The event takes place May 16, 2011.
