Volunteers for Rebuilding Dreams Home Improvement Drive for elderly and low-income residents will visit the Del Paso Heights and Strawberry Manor neighborhoods on Saturday, October 2, 2010 from 8am – 2pm.

Volunteers will be making home improvements for 10 residents. Volunteers will be painting, improving home safety, and enhancing homes’ energy conservation.

“I am delighted that the 2010 Rebuilding Dreams program will be concentrating its efforts in Del Paso Heights and Strawberry Manor,” said Councilmember Sandy Sheedy in a media statement. 

“This program makes needed improvements in the areas of safety, energy, landscaping and the like for low income homeowners. This is a huge benefit not only to individual homeowners but to their neighborhoods and communities as well.”

The Rebuilding Dreams program is part of Rebuilding Together Sacramento.
