The Twin Rivers Police Department is searching for an arsonist after a fire destroyed the playground a Hazel Straugh Elementary School.

The playground structure was already consumed by flames before firefighters arrived.

Authorities are asking anyone with information on the fire to call the Twin Rivers Police Department’s arson tip line at 916-808-8732.
