Tomorrow is the grand opening of the new JPA Firing Range Complex, located at 5436 Patrol Road, McClellan Business Park. The new complex is designed to provide quality firearms training to public safety agencies from throughout the region.

Current members of the Northern California Regional Public Safety Training Authority, or NCRPSTA -JPA, include the Sacramento Police Department, the Los Rios Community College District, and the California Regional Fire Rescue Training Authority consisting of the Sacramento City Fire Department, Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District, and the Governor’s Office of Emergency Services.

The grand opening of the Firing Range Complex is scheduled for Monday, June 7, 2010, at 9:00 a.m.  Firing range demonstrations and a tour of the complex will commence immediately after the grand opening ceremony (approximately 10:00 a.m.).
