Working toward it’s goal of reopening on November 4, 2010, Iceland Ice Arena is hosting another community cleanup day tomorrow, June 6 from 7am to 4pm.

The site is 90% clean, and the ice floor is in great shape. Still, much is left to be done: walkways must be paved, the neon must be fixed, the ice floor must be leveled, and a fresh coat of paint is needed all around.

Just like the last few cleanups, food and drinks will be supplied; volunteers must bring their own shovels, wheel barrows, ladders, gloves, and tools.

Those age 18 and older are allowed to work inside the building; 17 and younger can help outside.
