What’s up with the Charter Review?

North Area residents will have a chance to hear about what is going on with the review of the City Charter at tomorrow evening’s Community Partnership Meeting.

Hosted by the Neighborhood Services Department, the meetings will provide an update from Bill Edgar, Chair of the Charter Review Committee. This comes on the heels of the reemergence of talks surrounding the idea of Sacramento having a Strong Mayor.

Residents will also have a chance to speak with City Staff and get updates regarding the council districts, the Police Department, the Saca Community Learning Center, and the Sacramento County Assessor’s Office.

The Neighborhood Response Team Meeting begins at 6pm, followed by the Community Partnership Meeting at 7pm. Both meetings will take place at the South Natomas Community Center.
