Prior to tonight’s City Council Meeting, members of the public and media have been invited to attend a celebration of Mayor Heather Fargo’s 19 years of public service.

Mayor Fargo was first elected to the City Council in 1989, representing District One. She was re-elected to a second term in 1994, and a third term in 1998. She was elected Mayor in 2000, and re-elected to a second term in 2004.

The celebration will take place from 4-6pm at New City Hall, 915 “I” Street, Sacramento, CA.
